Jeanette C. Reichenbach, 55 of Sioux City, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at a local hospital. Memorial services 6 pm Friday at Waterbury Funeral Service. Visitation 5-7 pm Friday at the funeral home. Jeanette was born on September 17, 1953 in LeMars, Iowa, the daughter of John and Evelyn (Blackmoore) Fischer. She attended school in LeMars. During December of 1978, Jeanette met the love of her life, Leroy Reichenbach. They were married in Sioux City on January 2, 1990, and have spent 29 wonderful years together. She enjoyed crafts, playing bingo and collecting Coca Cola memorabilia. She was a homemaker but also worked for a time as a nurse’s aide. Survivors include her husband, Leroy; her mother, Evelyn Fischer of LeMars; her children, Shelia Fischer and Keane Fischer both of South Sioux City, Nebraska, Lisa and her husband Kenny Sherman of Sioux City, and Leroy Reichenbach, Jr. of Sioux City; 9 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter; and her brother, David Fischer and his wife Helen of LeMars. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Taresa Stough and her father, John Fischer.
